Ready For 2016/2017 Unilag Foundation Programme (Diploma) Application, Best plan B For Jambites

If you aren’t too sure of your admission into Unilag this year via jamb Utme then I will advise you to read this post carefully and plan apropriately. The best way to gain admission into Unilag usually is via the foundation Programme now popularly know as Unilag Jupeb Programme.
Unilag foundation programe(also Unilag diploma or Unilag Jupeb) is a year Programme is any course of your choice after which you can use the certificate to gain direct entry admission straight into Unilag. The Programme is for all undergraduate courses offered in Unilag.
I normally advise jamb Utme student to use this Programme as a back up or plan b just Incase post Utme decides to mess up your plan. It has also be proven over the years that the best graduating students of the university of Lagos were products of the foundation Programme.
The requirement to apply for this Programme is just your Olevel and even awaiting result is also accepted.
All you need in Olevel is just Maths, English and three other subjects relevant to your course of study.

IJMB: Easiset way to secure university admission without JAMB

IJMB is an acronym of Interim Joint Matrices Board Examination, an exam body that has been in existence before the JAMB, though prominent at the northern part of Nigeria, but still remains indelibly the best route into University for fresh college graduates & prospective student whose hope has been dashed by JAMB.

Securing admission into higher institution nowadays as become a great problem especially for those trying to use UTME as the mode of Entry and we won't be out of element to accentuate that the number of applicants that gained university admission annually with UTME is in by no means proportionate with the number of applicants that are qualified for admission by the virtue of scoring the minimum benchmark for admission.

In fact, the tendency of securing admission yearly after crossing the hurdles of the traditional UTME, PUTME is nose diving or declining as clearly revealed by statistics: about 1.4million candidates writes JAMB(UTME) yearly and about 80% ends up not securing admission.

REASON not farfetched; NUMEROUS APPLICANTS USING THE TRADITIONAL PLATFORM OF UTME TO APPLY FOR 100 LEVEL ADMISSION WITH LIMITED ADMISSION CHANCE.

SOLUTION:
It is seemingly easy to criticize and identify loopholes in a system but providing solution to curbing the pool of difficulties in securing university admission is our focus. We run a PROVEN, APPROVED and CERTIFIED PROGRAMME that qualifies students into 200 level in UNIVERSITY in NIGERIA and ABROAD without UTME.

Past TESTIMONIES( http://ijmbadmissions.com/testimonials) from our past students are ostensibly the best proof of the acceptability, universality and reliability of this programme(IJMB).

PROVEN : Annually about 15,000 applicant put in for the programme(IJMB) in which more than 12,000 candidates secure admission into 200 level into their choice of university and desire course easily thereby skipping 100level stress and cost as compared to JAMB with close to 1.7 million applicants and just 500,000 admitted into 100 level. THE DIFFERENCE IS CLEAR!

* APPROVED : The programme is approved by FEDERAL GOVERNMENT as a platform for securing university admission into university in Nigeria and outside. Its moderated by ABU, Zaria with different institutes nationwide of which we are one of the approved institutes.

* CERTIFIED : By NIGERIA UNIVERSITY COMMISSION(NUC) as an Advanced level programme that qualify students into 200 level in the university upon successful completion of the programme. CHECK JAMB BROCHURE TO CONFIRM.

The rationale for enrolling for IJMB is that few students use this medium to apply for university admission as opposed to the congested UTME platform thus the chance of securing admission with IJMB is extremely high.
WHAT IS IJMBE?

IJMBE - Interim Joint Matriculation Board Examination was established in 1976 by INTERIM COMMON SERVICE AGENCY(ICSA). It is an Advanced level programme that secures students 200L admission in the university in NIGERIA and ABROAD without JAMB.

This programme is certified by Nigeria University Commission(NUC) as a requirement for university education - check page 4 of JAMB brochure, item 2(2) to confirm the legitimacy. See details about IJMB here http://ijmbadmissions.com/about.php

WHY SHOULD I REGISTER FOR IJMBE?
*First, it serves a purpose of continuous study for the fresh graduates, hereby applying their brain in a continuous productive gain..(prospective students that have been home for a long time could testify to that though).

*Secondly, on completion of the IJMB prog.one is eligible to seek admission into the University at 200Level without further scrutiny.

*Thirdly, IJMB result is valid for life (unlike her JAMB counterpart),which puts a student at liberty of usage.

*Fourthly, IJMB broadens the horizon of students, serving as a bridge between the O' Level & the tertiary University, providing the student with a feel of what it is in the University & preparing them for further challenges.

The immense benefits are better experience than express viz:

*Multiple admission opportunities via Direct Entry
*Result do not expire
* Easy 200 level admission in the university
*Advanced level programme = advance academic knowledge
*Result is internationally accepted(we have partners university abroad that accept IJMB result)
*Chances of admission higher(upto 80%)
*No JAMB needed or PUTME
* You can enroll with awaiting result
* And lots more...

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS TO START IJMB

We have begun helping candidates to change their 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th choice courses or institutions. These changes are done by our staff, and our changes are done to reflect on the JAMB System immediately.

Reasons why you may want to change your Course or Insititution

There are obviously three good reasons why a candidate may need to change his/her jamb choice of course or institution or both:

Case 1A. Due to Low UTME score:

After the release of Jamb results, the next thing to face is post-UTME and admissions. Now take for instance that someone applied for a federal university who will probably fix a cut-off mark of 200 and above; if such candidate scored less than 200, it simply means he/she has lost the admission. In this case the change of institution to a state-owned/private University becomes necessary. State universities generally fix cut-off marks below 200.

Case 1B. Due to Low UTME score:

Just like case 1A above, this happens when a candidate chose a very competitive course like Law, Medicine and Surgery, Pharmacy, Engineering, etc. Several courses have greater number of applicants than others and such courses invariably attract very high cut-off marks. To avoid being left aside a candidate is advised to go for change of course within the same institution/faculty.

Case 2. Incomplete O'level results

In this case candidates who may have ran into deficiency of required credit passes in some key/relevant subjects may decide to go for

Case 3. Mistakes during registration

Was there a mistake while filling your registration by either you or the business/cyber cafe? With this help, you can now correct any errors made during registration of your course or institution.

Case 4. Other causes

These includes several factors ranging from finance, change in Geographical locations, Parent's suggestions, Fear of Tribal differences, etc. Such cases treated under this heading result to change of institution.

If you need help with checking;
- List of schools that are offering a course,
- List of courses that are offered in a particular school,
- If your JAMB subject combination matches with the course or institution you want to select,
- The subject or course requirement for any institution,
- The O'level requirement for a course or institution, please use the Online JAMB Brochure on this website.

JAMB 2016 Candidates With No Result Yet, Please Read This

We have many complaints from candidates who were unable to access their results even on JAMB Portal days after sitting for the 2016 UTME and have decided to create this thread to address the issue.

We understand that some of you expected JAMB to send your scores to your phone numbers and are yet to receive such message. If you are among this category, you are advised to visit the official 2016 JAMB result checking portal by clicking here to verify your result online.

However, if you have checked online and got a response like "No Result Yet", just relax. There's no need to get overly panicked.

From experience we know JAMB usually releases some of these withheld results days after the conclusion of the whole exams; except when such results are linked with malpractice issues of any kind.

So we advise candidates to keep checking the 2016 JAMB Official result checking portal. Hopefully, your result will be made available in no distant time.
